Trusted Local Electricians for Landscape Lighting Installations
If you want landscape lighting for your garden, patio, or yard, we’re the best choice in West Michigan. If you have a vision for your exterior lighting, our design and installation bring it to life. Our solutions enhance the natural beauty of anyone’s property while improving safety and functionality.
Why Now Is the Right Time to Upgrade Your Lighting
Outdated fixtures cost more than you think. Older bulbs waste power as energy bills climb, and aging outdoor wiring adds safety risk over time. Upgrading to modern LED landscape lighting lowers your monthly spend and gives your property a finish that lasts.
Energy Savings
Modern LED fixtures draw a fraction of the power older bulbs use and last far longer between replacements. The upgrade pays you back through lower electric bills year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about lighting installation and service for West Michigan homes and businesses.
What’s the difference between low-voltage and line-voltage landscape lighting?
Most residential landscape lighting runs on low voltage (30 volts or less), stepped down by a transformer from a standard outdoor circuit. It’s safer to work around, the cable can be buried shallower, and it works well for pathways, garden beds, and uplighting. Line-voltage fixtures at 120 volts make sense for longer wire runs, brighter security floodlights, and some commercial work. During the site visit, we check what power is already available at your property and recommend the setup that fits the plan.
Will installing it tear up my lawn and garden beds?
Less than people expect. Low-voltage cable only needs six inches of cover under code, so the trench is narrow and shallow. This means it’s more like edging a garden bed than digging a utility trench. A new 120-volt circuit or outdoor outlet goes deeper and takes more work, which we’ll tell you about before install day. Beds and mulched areas recover almost immediately; lawn grass takes a few weeks to knit back together.
How does landscape lighting hold up through a West Michigan winter?
Freeze-thaw cycles, road salt near the drive, and a snowblower can be hard on outdoor fixtures. We install weather-rated fixtures and code-compliant outdoor wiring. We place fixtures with snow removal in mind, away from where a plow or blower throws. We’re local, so if something needs attention in February, we’re nearby.
What’s the benefit of upgrading to LED lighting?
LED uses at least 75% less energy than incandescent and lasts 15 to 25 times longer. For homeowners that means lower electric bills and fewer bulb changes. For businesses, the energy savings often pay back the install cost within a few years, and many Michigan utilities offer rebates on LED retrofits.
What will landscape lighting add to my electric bill?
Not much, and modern lights add even less than older fixtures. LED lighting uses at least 75% less energy than incandescent and lasts up to 25 times longer, so a full yard of LED fixtures draws roughly what a couple of old floodlights did. You also replace bulbs far less often. We can put the system on a timer or photocell so it runs only after dark and shuts off on a schedule you choose.
